What’s wrong

While the AI runs its 'Searching for opportunities...' spinner, no cancel or stop control appears anywhere in the chat. The input field remains active but submitting a new message does not halt the running search. The only way to interrupt is to navigate away entirely.

What to fix

Show a stop button adjacent to the 'Searching for opportunities...' spinner. Pressing it should halt the current search and leave any already-returned results in place.

What’s wrong

The AI decides autonomously how many searches to run, which sources to consult, and how deep to go. No setting exists to limit scope, require approval before each search step, or switch to a lighter mode. The user discovered this only by watching multiple sequential searches run without being asked.

What to fix

Add a search depth control to the AI Job Search input area, with at least two options: a quick single-pass search and a deeper multi-angle search. The current behaviour should be labelled and opt-in rather than the default.
